When Hotel Biniarroca opened in 2003 after a 5 year programme of conversion from a tumbledown farmhouse, it immediately set itself apart from the rest. This has been a labour of love on the part of owner to create a unique atmosphere of peace and beauty in the heart of the Menorcan countryside.
The gardens were key to the vision of what Biniarroca should be, and guests are privileged to enjoy a mature rose garden, luxuriant lavender and abundant bougainvillea along with neo-classical statues and rustic stonework. There are two elegant swimming pools and also an art gallery on the premises. For guests who choose to spend a day of peace and contemplation in the gardens and pools, there is a poolside bar to keep them sustained. Indoors there is a lounge and a library as well as the renowned restaurant.
There are 18 guest rooms, all individually and exquisitely designed by an artist and designer. As well as design, the rooms benefit from the comforts of air-conditioning, heating, telephone, television and internet access. One of the ground-floor rooms has been adapted for wheelchair access.
Biniarroca prides itself on an atmosphere of sophisticated informality, with staff who are friendly and helpful. Every aspect of the hotel exudes quality, making a stay here a truly unique experience. In order to maintain the ambience smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms and guests are asked not to use mobile phones at dinner or around the pool area.
Please note that Biniarroca is an adults only hotel, with a minimum age of 16 years.
