Location! Location! Location! If you enjoy the magic of a sea view, Castellor Bed and Breakfast is the place for you, looking straight out over the rugged wonder of Cemaes Bay on the Isle of Anglesey. The view changes minute by minute and if you're lucky, you'll hear the Time and Tide bell - an artistic installation, one of twelve bells around the UK, rung by the sea at high tide. On a clear day you can see the Isle of Man and dolphin and porpoise pods are spotted frequently.

Castellor is a boutique Bed and Breakfast for grown-ups only, opened in summer 2016 and already enjoying a very special reputation. There are five guestrooms, all on the ground floor, each with free WiFi, Sealy Posturetech Geltex pocket sprung beds and 600 thread-count Egyptian cotton linens. The rooms provide high standard en-suite facilities with Duck Island toiletries and the largest three rooms have power-showers. Homemade cake is waiting for you in your room to revive you after your journey. There’s also chilled water, fresh milk and a range of loose leaf teas or freshly roasted coffee.

The breakfast room has spectacular views of the beach and Cemaes Bay, and there's also a small sitting area looking straight down to the water's edge. There's a lawned garden and terrace outside (more sea views) and facilities for cleaning muddy boots and bikes after a day of exploring Anglesey. There's also secure bike storage, and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Within Cemaes Bay and next to the town, Traeth Mawr is a sandy beach with rock pools and a promenade. There is a slipway giving access to disabled visitors and the harbour has a dedicated launching area, with the harbour sea wall being a popular place for a stroll. It's a popular destination for watersports, including kayaking and sailing, and boat trips are on offer to many locations around the island.
