The Catamaran Hotel lies nestled between palm trees and tropical flowers right on the beachfront of Falmouth Harbour. With sailing boats, fishing boats and yachts anchored and moored all about, this seems the very epitome of a beautiful Caribbean location.

With only fourteen rooms, the hotel provides plenty of room to relax, not just on the beach itself, but on the balconies or around the pool. Wherever you choose, your eyes will be drawn to the idyllic views across the bay. Add to your relaxation with a massage or yoga class, or be more active and go sailing or fishing straight from the beach. Or go off-site to find snorkelling, diving, horse-riding and bike hire.

Boasting iconic views of Falmouth Harbour the Captain’s Quarters Restaurant and Bar offers guests both formal and informal alfresco dining. Guests start the day with a wide choice of breakfast options ranging from fruit to traditional hot mains or the famous Antiguan Breakfast. lunch is a light affair to keep you feeling fresh and active for the rest of the day, then as the sun goes down this is the perfect location for a sundowner and to blend Caribbean and International flavours with impeccable service.

The casual, tropical-inspired rooms open to the pool deck or the beach, and feature kitchenettes, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The most spacious suite is the Admiral’s Suite with a living room that includes a sofa bed for accommodating young families and panoramic views from the second-floor balcony. Our own favourite is the Captain’s Cabin, with rich wood panelling a view over the pool and direct access to the beach. The Superior View suites are on the second floor to make the best of the views of Falmouth Bay, and each has a queen-size double bed, a single bed, en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette.

The Catamaran Hotel was built by Sir Hugh Bailey, a son of Falmouth Area.  Now owned and managed by his daughter Feona Bailey she is passionate about giving back, especially to the children of the surrounding communities of Falmouth.  She launched Cat Club Cares and provides financial, volunteering and mentoring support to a number of schools around Falmouth.
